View Full Version : My Experiences With Colloidal Silver…

It all started in 1979; I had contracted genital herpes. I have to say that the pleasure was not worth the pain. I spoke to a doctor and he said there was a possible cure in Mexico where they sold , I think it was called, Protomide. I purchased a quantity and began injecting it myself since it was not offered in the U.S. It did not work and I had wasted time and money.

I married in 1980 and my new wife also had genital herpes so there was little adjustment necessary there. It can’t be easy for newlyweds when one is infected. In fact, I have been trying to contact a friend who contracted genital herpes after marriage, She knew the risks and accepted them. I will keep trying to find them but don’t know where to turn to next.

My typical experience with genital herpes was that 3 or 4 times per year that I got a painful outbreak with a high fever and great weakness, much like the flu. The outbreak lasted between 2 to 3 weeks until healed. The high fever and flu like symptoms lasted a couple of days.

I divorced in 1996 and have lived alone in trying to raise my two sons of whom I have joint custody. In 1999 in preparation for Y2K, I came across reports of colloidal silver’s effectiveness. I purchased a Silvergen machine and began making my own colloidal silver and taking it daily. The concentration was about 16 to 19 PPM according to my Hanna PPM counter. I never took over 2 ounces at a time but sometimes took it 12 hours apart. I had read that 98% leaves the body in 24 hours and tried this method to keep the benefit going on a more even level.

So I had had genital herpes for about 20 years before I discovered colloidal silver. After taking the colloidal silver I have not had any return of symptoms, not even once. And that has been over 4 years now.

The following are statements from the Center For Disease Control :

How common is genital herpes?
Results of a nationally representative study show that genital herpes infection is common in the United States. Nationwide, at least 45 million people ages 12 and older, or one out of five adolescents and adults, have had genital HSV infection. Between the late 1970s and the early 1990s, the number of Americans with genital herpes infection increased 30 percent.

HSV-2 infection is more common in women (approximately one out of four women) than in men (almost one out of five). This may be due to male-to-female transmissions being more efficient than female-to-male transmission.

What are the complications of genital herpes?
Genital herpes can cause recurrent painful genital sores in many adults, and herpes infection can be severe in people with suppressed immune systems. Regardless of severity of symptoms, genital herpes frequently causes psychological distress in people who know they are infected.

In addition, genital HSV can cause potentially fatal infections in babies if the mother has sores at the time of delivery. It is important that women avoid contracting herpes during pregnancy because a first episode during pregnancy causes a greater risk of transmission to the baby. If a woman has active genital herpes at delivery, a cesarean delivery is usually performed. Fortunately, infection of a baby from a woman with herpes infection is rare.
Worldwide, herpes may play a role in the heterosexual spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Herpes can make people more susceptible to HIV infection, and it can make HIV-infected individuals more infectious.

Is there a treatment for herpes?
There is no treatment that can cure herpes, but antiviral medications can shorten and prevent outbreaks during the period of time the person takes the medication.

Moving on to Valtrex which you must have heard about if you have a T.V. The following is from the Valtrex website :

Important Information About VALTREX

There is no cure for herpes. Even with treatment, it may be possible to spread herpes.

When daily VALTREX is used to reduce the risk of spreading genital herpes, safer sex practices should be used.

It is not known if VALTREX reduces the risk of spreading genital herpes in same sex couples.

While taking VALTREX for cold sores, you should not exceed one day of treatment, two doses taken 12 hours apart.

VALTREX is intended for healthy adults and is available by prescription only. To avoid a potentially serious complication, tell your doctor if your immune system is not normal because of advanced HIV disease, bone marrow or kidney transplant. Common side effects are headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and dizziness.

Go to PDF file at bottom for fuller information and cautions for use; there are several including death in some cases.

The cost for Valtrex is about $5 to $6 per dose.

I must also mention that I have had an extremely painful prostate for years and that has ceased since I have been taking colloidal silver. I think this is no coincidence as this area has many tiny vesicles and I have been told by a doctor that it is prone to infection. Since so many men get prostate cancer in later years, it may be smart to check it out. Especially when you know what prostate surgery entails.

Another benefit I have recently discovered is that my allergies have greatly diminished. I had allergy to cats, pollen, oak tree pollen, new mowed grass and probably others. In the past, I have been rushed to the hospital twice when my lungs closed up and was given shots of epinephrine and cortisone. A friend of the family had allergies and takes the colloidal silver I make and she swears by it now. You might want to check out this website on asthma :

Moving on to some serious ailments, the next beauty is anthrax :

And the one which makes me livid is AIDS. I believe that colloidal silver may be the “silver bullet” for AIDS patients. I have spoken to people and run into dead ends, both the people themselves and results. I mean, what are we afraid of ? Could the answer be this simple ? Google.com has many articles on the effect of colloidal silver on AIDS or HIV. One prominent one is :

Can Silver Treat AIDS?
News Article written by Nancy Robey (mn@primenet.com)
(Nancy Robey is one of the premiere researchers in the field of Colloidal Silver used on AIDS and the HIV virus.)
http://www.colloidal-silver.com/article7.htm

I have read testimonials of people cured of AIDS in the past. Obviously it is of primary importance that any test of colloidal silver’s effectiveness would have to be a group who does not reinfect themselves in the process and thus spoiling the accuracy of the results. The group must be aware of the Herxheimer reaction and gradually increase the quantity of colloidal silver taken. Otherwise, they will feel weak and sick in getting rid of too much viral load in too short a time. Blood cell changes could monitored and recorded. I am not in the medical profession and don’t know all the details necessary but am tired of hearing that there is no cure for AIDS, year after year. What have we got to lose in trying ?

So I throw out this offer to someone that I will buy a machine to make silver colloid for the purpose of trying this on a valid test group of AIDS sufferers.

I will take no legal responsibility as we are a nation of ambulance chasers. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished. There is also a saying that if you find a dog who is homeless and starving and you give it care and a home that it will return the care and love. But a person may bite you ! And I have been bitten a few times. So I am twice cautious. Maybe the test would be best in a foreign country where there is less greed.

If colloidal silver can quickly wipe out my genital herpes, why can it not wipe out AIDS ? It is just another damn virus and laboratory tests have shown colloidal silver to kill the AIDS virus.

There must be an answer and it has been gnawing at me.

Just my humble opinion and DYODD

Agnut

P.S. I think argyria is a boogeyman to keep people from using colloidal silver. How many people have you seen in photos who turned blue ? Two that I can think of and they both did not take it in a form that I would consider safe.

And besides, my favorite color is blue

P.P.S. I had a very bad sunburn on my forehead, so bad that when I pressed it with my finger, it left a deep impression. For some reason I soaked a Kleenex with colloidal silver and laid it upon the burned area for about a half hour. The swelling and bright redness went down soon thereafter and the area tanned beautifully. I would have had serious peeling and pain in the past. Try it the next time someone gets a bad sunburn and see the difference.

Hey agnut,

Thanks for sharing your experience!Hey gpond, IIRC you had an "itch" or something and were going to try CS on it.
What has transpired with it? Any good news to report?

IrishGold,

I have an annual jock itch, or perhaps heat rash(?), I guess you'd call it. Usually arrives with the summer and hot weather. CS applied topically knocks it out like nothing I've ever used before. I'm not very disciplined with my applications, but with CS I find that one or two topical applications usually knocks it out for a while. I am totally sold on CS as a topical.

I have taken CS internally, also, but really have no results to report. In the short term it didn't kill me. I don't know that I have benefited either. I use an eye dropper and snort a small amount of CS into each nostril daily to ward off sinus infections. I don't know if it helps, or not. But topically, I am a true believer. I can't wait to try it out on sunburn I plan to develop later this summer!

Oxygen is aslo a natural "miracle" cure for the same reason silver is; viruses cannot exist in the presence of either. It's that simple.

Stablilized liquid O2 can be purchased as hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) or in some combination with sodium and chloride (NaClO2). Just mix dilute it in water and drink it a few times per day.

In the case of various herpes viruses (zoster causes chicken pox and then shingles in the elderly or immuno-compromised; simplex causes cold sores and genital lesions) the virus hides in the ganglia at the base of the spine and travels along the associated nerves to the surface of the skin. To fight herpese, one may want to apply dimethy sulphoxide (DMSO) to the base of the spine and the site of outbreaks regularly. DMSO is a solvent which easily penetrates the skin and brings oxygen deep into the body where it can kill viruses.

In Europe, it is legal to oxygenate the body more directly by taking some blood from the patient, infusing it with ozone (O3) and then returning the blood to the patient's circulatory system. This is done repeatedly over the course of weeks. This kills many anaerobic, disease-causing organisms and as long as the patient sticks to a lifestyle that doesn't chronically deprive the body of oxygen (avoids alcohol, soft drinks, being sedentary, etc), the disease does not get a chance to reestablish a foothold.

I am among those who believe that pathogens can be entirely eliminated from the system as long as the body remains at a suitable level of oxygenation for a long enough period. Viruses simply cannot exist in such an environment. There is some debate as to whether dormant viruses are affected; if they're not, then if global oxygen levels fall in the body, these dormant viruses could reactivate and cause disease once more.

Considering the lower levels of oxygen available due to carbon monoxide from the burning of oil and from the often toxic nature of our nutrient-poor food, I think adding a few drops of stabilized liquid oxygen every day to one's water is an elementary step.

postscriptus

I also am convinced that the FDA is nothing more than the enforcement agency for the major pharmecueticals. They're only interest is getting you hooked on the belief that their expensive snake oil are cures. Those drugs suppress symptoms and in so doing suppress your bodies natural ability to FIGHT pathogens.

Doctors for the most part have turned into nothing more than pushers for these guys. (Every trip to the doctor for me involves my doctor half-listening to me before he writes up a prescription for some drug and shoves me out the door.)

Hi Barbara ! Thank you for yr interesting posting. However, I am also rather shocked reading yr last sentence.

In yr posting you give the impression that all doctors are half-listening (and so not interested). That cannot be true. Even if so, YOU can easily search another doctor with more interest. Why should you stick to the same person. Don't complain when you can change it yourself.

From everything I've read, the trick is that you've got to make the colloidal silver correctly, or you're wasting your time. It sounds like you are doing it correctly. Could you give us more informaton about the equipment you purchased and the methods to do this correctly? How does one get started doing this?

So is the Silver Genesis the same as the Silvergen that Agnut is talking about? I see several models on the silver genesis website. Which one are you using Agnut? And what about the "Hanna PPM counter"??

It's harder than you think to change things in an authoritarian medicine system that was structured long ago by the Rockefellers when the AMA and FDA were created. You can search all you want but very few doctors exist outside this system.

Surgeons are just as subverted as MD's. Fortunately it's harder for then to enforce restrictions on alternatives. Millions of hip replacements were done in cases where rolfing would have cured the problem, for example. Also, most knee surgery is unsuccessful, yet this doesn't prevent surgeons from selling multiple surgeries which usually make the patient worse.

Good morning. I don't know about Silver Genesis but here is the website from which I purchased my machine several years ago.

Here is the website for Silvergen.

http://www.silvergen.com/

I bought the SG5B model; it works off 110 A.C. or 12 volt D.C. It is about the same price as when I bought it over 4 years ago. I might recommend that you purchase extra electrodes as I have gone through 3 sets on the last years. I do have to mention that I have been making colloidal silver for myself and several other people. I am now using two .9999 silver one ounce Mapleleafs in a mayonnaise jar with slits I cut in the plastic lid to hold these Mapleleafs in place. It seems to work fine but produces a lower PPM, about 8 PPM instead of the 15 to 17 I had with the silver electrodes. You might want to look at the model with the stirrer and PPM shutoff.

The Hanna PPM counter was purchased off eBay. I think it was $20 to $25.
It works fine unless you forget to turn it off when you are done; the batteries go dead. Duh !

Hoarder,

I'm not surprised by the tone or content of this xzorro's post.

I've changed doctors several times in the past few years and all of them have been the same: minimally interested in me, but eager to dash off a prescription and get on to the next patient.

I hear the same experiences from a lot of people. Doctors as a group seem to have morphed into little more than prescription mills. Dentists are in on it with the surgeons and MDs, selling us treatments we don't need (my own dentist has for years been urging wisdom teeth removal which has been all the rage lately).

Nature is more complicated and subtle than we can ever really know. The body will heal itself given the right tools. A good doctor understands this. A lot of modern medicine is a hustle with a veneer of respectability and science. Sure they know how to replace a hip or remove a set of tonsils, but do they NEED to? Many chronic conditions could be righted with proper diet, exercise and oxygen therapy (which is nothing more exotic than reversing the years of slow oxygen-deprivation that comes from living in a post-industrial world).

Understand that there are here some people who are of the opinion that there is (also) a conspiracy of doctors (GP's). This I (also) cannot believe, because IMO most people who decide for a position like that will have the desire to help other people.

However, I can well imagine that doctors get an attitude of not caring too much about certain people. Let me explain. A large number of people eat junk food, are boozing and living unhealthy. You know the meatloaf kind of people, they are espescially abundant in the US. Now if you are an GP and you get this kind of people consulting you, then your natural reaction may well be that these fools have been jeopardizing their own health over many years. And then they come to you for symptoms, they could probably have avoided by proper lifestyle. Then I can well imagine that the MD is not so much interested.

Over here in Europe we have a lot of poorly educated immigrants from Farway-istan. These people require all kind of pharmaceutical products for themselves and their relatives (at the expense of the health system, as you may understand.....). So, what is the natural reaction of the GP's: to provide something for their relatives he has never seen. Probably without showing much interest.

People should in first instance properly take care of their own health. Otherwise they should not expect interest from their GP.

Yes, I'm reviving a 4.5yo thread. I got here via a couple degrees of separation from the current shingles thread. The above advice has the potential for great physical harm. Not that there is anything wrong with the concept.
Anyone following this advice needs to know that H2O2 is stabilized with heavy metals. H2O2 is a very unstable molecule and will readily devolve into H2O and O. H2O2 that is safe for ingestion can be had but it is not easy to find and it does not store for very long at all. I am unsure if there are alternative forms of stabilization that involve compounds safe for ingestion. I do know your typical OTC H2O2 is loaded with heavy metals so caveat emptor.

OP, thank you for that testimony. If you reread my post you'll see that I state specialty products exist but the warning stands for the typical brown bottle peroxide you find in any pharmacy. It also stands for the majority of the chem-supply house bottles of higher percentage H2O2.

The one you want to look for is the 35% food grade peroxide. You also store it in a opaque bottle as UV breaks down H2O2.

Where are you within Europe?

In England (and, I think, the rest of the UK) it would be illegal as well as unethical for a doctor to prescribe NHS drugs for people he had never seen.
