Prosecutors search offices of bank, state investment company in connection to silver theft
Hardly an amount of Silver you could carry in a briefcase or backpack!
I wonder ‘WHERE’ the US Gold is? This is an isolated incident, RIGHT! Have you got enough physical silver of your own?
”MOSCOW - Prosecutors searched the offices Tuesday 25 March 2003 of a Russian bank and a state investment company in connection with the alleged theft of 300 metric tons ( 330 tons ) of state silver.
Investigators of the Prosecutor General's Office searched the offices of Guta Bank and state investment corporation Gosinkor, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said.
It said the search was part of an investigation into the alleged theft of 300 metric tons ( 330 tons ) of silver entrusted to Gosinkor by the government in 1996.
Guta Bank denied any violations on its part in the silver sale, according to the Interfax news agency. Gosinkor is in the process of being disbanded in line with a February decree by President Vladimir Putin.”
