What do you think we should be doing instead?
Not voting. That is the beginning to take back the several states.
A vote for democrat is a vote for communism.
A vote for republican is a vote for communism.
A vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for communism.
The freedom you have is to vote for your opressor.
What most people fail to see is communism is firmly entrenched in the United States, and that our system has already been corrupted.
Voting will not fix the system - no matter who runs.
The only logical choice is to NOT VOTE. Wreck the system, and begin anew.

They all want to believe that someone somewhere somehow can change the direction of the:
Current immigration debacle,
Current war debacle,
Current relationship with Israel debacle,
Current energy debacle,
Current Patriot Act repression debacle,
Current educational debacle,
....
Well, you get my drift.
"Where have all good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Up Where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like a fire in my blood
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

Rock on guys, I agree with you 100%. Complete waste of time. Although I appreciate Ron Paul and what he has to say is important for everyone to hear, in the end it will not make any difference. The elections are rigged and ANY VOTE, no matter who you vote for, either crimninal thug A, criminal scumbag B or red herring candidate C, is a vote in FAVOR OF THE STATUS QUO. Any vote, no matter who you vote for, says: "I support a system that elects criminals to represent me and I have no problem with the fact that those criminals I elect will immediately drop their pants upon swearing in, and do the bidding of their corporate pimps."
If EVERY SINGLE person were to vote, which is the ultimate objective of those who preach that elections can create change, you would STILL have one of two criminals from either of the two major parties elected.
If EVERYONE stopped voting, the ultimate objective of those of who understand that voting is a waste of time, and refused to take part in their scam, the result would be a Constitutional crisis that would force real change.
Time to fish or cut bait, you cannot continue doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result each time. That is insanity and that is exactly what voters do every election. Nothing will ever change until we reject their system en mass.
Your choice. But facts are facts.

I don't understand how not voting would wreck the system. That would seem to be the ideal... then votes could be 100% manufactured and staged.
How is inaction helping? Inaction, apathy and resignation have been the desired goals over the last 20-30 years (at least).
Our choices:
- do nothing
- fight
- join
It seems to me that doing nothing is the same as joining because that is exactly what most of the masses are doing: Nothing.
So help me understand why "doing nothing" because you're enlightened and aware is different from "doing nothing" because you're blissfully ignorant. They appear identical from my perspective.

Well Ron Paul has some important things to say but last night he made the claim that Osama Bin Laden was behind 9-11. That is a lie. I cant cast a vote for someone who isnt willing to tell the truth. Sure he challenged Guiliani's view of 9-11, but he still claimed that it was muslims who attacked us and that they want to attack us again because we are inviting them to do so by our presence in the middle east. That is a mainstream position, Ron Paul is not saying anything that the rest arent.
Even if Ron Paul came out and told the truth regarding 9-11, he has zero chance of winning. I understand that such a position appears to be apathetic and defeatist but that is not the case. I am simply ackowledging the reality of the situation, people have been claiming for decades that elections can change things for the better if we just all get out and participate and that is, by definition, delusional. Nothing ever changes for the better as a result of elections, things always get worse as a result of elections. My position is that is now time to try an entirely different course of action. Reject their elections altogether, and find other ways to create real change. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, which is exactly what you are doing every 2 years when you vote, is insanity. Nothing ever changes for the better. Period.
It is now time to put our heads together and find a way to bring about real, lasting and valuable change, and I believe that the first step is a large scale rejection of their corrupt and criminal election proceedings.

MP - think about it, if Ron Paul came out talking about operation Garden Plot, MK-Ultra, Flight 93 and Skull and Bones - how would he be perceived by the MSM and the sheeple??? Working within the system is much better than operating outside it. Give this man some support and give him credit where credit is due - he's doing a good job of peeling the first layer of the onion.

Exactly. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Paul is the best man in this race, it is in our interests to get him elected. So what happens if everybody's behind Paul and they appoint somebody else instead? Good question. I am eager to see what happens when the majority of the country backs a man for president who is then clearly tossed aside while another who is opposed by the great majority is appointed. It's those kinds of events that will lead to the grassroots uprising we need.

Most of us agree - R/D - there's no difference. Who cares, let the chips fall where they may. Personally, I'm not counting on Ron to save me, just to bring the questions to the forefront. Martial law, torture, dna databases - most of the country is against this. The more Ron's voice gets out, the more the MSM and the cnadidates will have to answer the questions.
(re)Defining America and freedom is not an easy task, Ron Paul is making it harder for those looking to do it
Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you guys seem to be talking about is voting...imo that has little to do with politics. Politics is the day to day activity that each of us does in his/her own way. Letters to the editor, demanding a voice at a citycouncil meeting, reading and writing and engaging anyone and everyone we can. We can train baboons to vote but not to be politically active/engaged. Being on this board is a political activity. As long as Americans abdicate their political mandates, as long as they refuse to become aware and read and think and interact, then voting for whomever is an empty endeavor.

Again, please explain your position on not voting....How is not voting going to move any change forward?? Enlighten me!!
Half of the country isn't voting now and we still are in the same boat of carp!!
Even if no one votes, they, TPTB would just appoint their cronies of choice to continue this diabolical seizure of our country and things probably would get even worse. Not only that it would pick up speed in my opinion. They would just write law that doesn't allow voting and would then move to hand pick their leaders openly and would then just remove all form of government and replace it with a dictatorship which is what their ultimate goal is in the first place!!!
The only way we can produce change is to get someone in office that fights for the people of this country if that isn't going to be allowed and it is becoming very evident to me now that it isn't going to be allowed, then we must FIGHT these bastards and take our country back!!
If that last option is the case, when do we move??......I'm locked and loaded!!

Wrong. You can vote for him in the primaries, he already has enormous support. Failing that he can run as an independent, he will take his support with them because nobody is backing Paul because he's with the republican party. :haha: Even if that were to fall through he can still be written in when you go to vote.

Gee...you are half way to Reality. The destination is for you to [finally] admit that as an Independent he also has absolutely no possible chance of ever actually being elected President of the United States. Zero chance.

There's a good argument to be made about the integrity of our voting system, whether or not the electoral college even does its job. That isn't the point, the point is to do something pro-active instead of a whole bunch of nothing. Given the huge support Paul has this can be a great test case.

Excellent examples of people who think voting matters.
You all still DO NOT UNDERSTAND America is already lost. The system is corrupted to the core. Our freedom is to HAHAHAHA vote for a bunch of handpicked candidates.
Gunner writes, "voting - there is no cost to us." There is always a cost. Currently the cost is the continuation of the loss of what "freedoms" are left. Been that way for over 150 years. Because of the corruption of the system, when you vote you vote for communism regardless of the candidate.
SirCruz writes how only half the country votes and look at the mess we have. Great, let's have everyone vote and really f:censored:k it up. If there were only 2 candidates and 3 voters, our country would still be a huge mess. Look at what I highlighted above, SirCruz, that is already happening. They are writing law. It's called civil law, and you will find listed as US code and State code. These are all man-made laws and all fringe on your God-given rights. Voting only encourages them to make more code, for our safety.
