Add "Ron Paul Forum", "Ron Paul", "Election 2008", "Ron Paul for President", and the like to the GIM MetaTags.

Meta tags are worthless thanks to spammers.
Page titles, anchor text, and headers (like h1) pull a lot of weight, but backlinks backlinks, backlinks!

Ron Paul is in the meta tags...

yup, because that is anchor text from this site which pulls weight (ie there are several links on this site that say Ron Paul Forum - look above in the breadcrumbs for example, or the board index).

Only problem with all of this (and I am a Ron Paul supporter) is the dregs that we will get signing up for membership.
Ya think the old timers complained before? Hmmmm....
