Pasadena California. My guess it's alot of Dems that are completely impressed with Dr. Paul and realize that their candidates suck about as much as the other sock puppets...
BTW Khan I looked and there's another meet on June 12th and I'm signed up...:ARMS1:

Your lucky - in my area within 50 miles no meetings are setup yet and only 3 of us interested. I was going to go to our local VFW and ask to use one of their rooms and start one myself. Well that was my plan for Friday and my cat got a fishing lure deep into his paw and I spent much of my day at the vets.. Lots of fun trying to get a lure out of a cats paw! He was not a happy cat - I should leave some out and see if the bear will get one stuck on his - now that would be fun..
Good for you on the June 12th date...

I attended the first Long Island Ron Paul meetup earlier this evening.
Only about 14 people showed. I consider this disappointing, considering the population of Queens, Nassau and Suffolk county numbers in the millions. Still, it is a highly motivated group with two politically active, well-informed lawyers in attendance as well.
We’ll meet again in two weeks and make more specific plans.
I learned that in N.Y. Ron Paul supporters need to become ‘notary public’ certified to collect signatures - - if that turns out to be the plan. My wife and I will become certified over the summer.
More leadership and direction needs to come forth from Ron Paul headquarters. Other than ‘guerrilla’ awareness advertising programs, which was discussed, a concerted drive will need to be top down.
I’m glad I attended, the group somewhat reminded me of our GIM get-together in Wisconsin, with similar subjects being discussed.

When I signed up there were 101 meetups for Ron Paul and now there are 201 wow is all I can say...... His support continues to grow legs. I have not seen any of the others gain any meetups since I joined..

One other thing I heard Ron Paul now has several million for his campaign.. The funds a flowing in to this man.. I got this from someone who called Ron Paul headquarters and asked..
