We need more people for the Houston Area Traffic Jam on Friday 5/25/2007.
Read about it and Join up with Houston Area Ron Paul supporters here:
http://ronpaul.meetup.com/24/?a=wm1_mem3
Note: This only involves standing at Red Lights along Westheimer ( between Montrose and loop 610 outbound) and handing out info to people who show interest. There are no plans to interfer with traffic in any way or cause an actual traffic jam as other groups have done in the past.
Your help is needed!

15 people have signed up for this.....(they are asking for 20 + 2 people to video this for the media coverage).
If less than 20 show up they now say that they will not video for the media.
They are afraid it would look like a weak turnout........
If you know anyone in the Houston area who would like to support Ron Paul please pass this info on to them.......
It would be great to get this out on TV.....even if it is just local news.
Thanks.......

One thing I failed to mention - you need to strongly discourage anyone in your group from displaying ANYTHING which distracts from the message of Ron Paul for President, e.g. tee shirts, signs, buttons, etc. which have slogans like 'Impeach (Bush)', 'Last Chance', '911 Was an Inside Job', 'Stop the War', etc.
If anyone displays anything like that, the teevee nooz cameraman WILL capture the image.
Even though all of that stuff may be true, such distractions send the groupthink types into the 'tilt' mode.
Thanks for your input. I am not an organizer of this group. I am a simple member, but from what I have seen so far they are very much up to par with the issues you have brought up. The signs used in the traffic jam have been purchased through the organizers at cost. They have asked for any homemade signs to be cleared through the head guys.......We are meeting up in one place before we start so they can check everything out.
They do plan to hand out bumper stickers, pins, and cards to anyone who shows an interest. I am pretty sure that unless the news shows up on their own, all media releases will be from their own video.
They seem like a sharp group of people who have it together.....I have no doubts that they will make us proud......
