Supermarkets
Supermarkets are already suffering from the first signs of a shortage of meat, as the restrictions on the movement of live animals starts to lead to severe problems in the supply chain.
Tesco is already having problems filling its shelves as all British farmers are banned from moving their animals to abattoirs, The Daily Telegraph was told last night.
Industry insiders warned that Tesco was only the first of what would become a long line of supermarkets and high street butchers that would find it difficult stocking their meat counters in the coming days.
