I am cofident that the dollar will not be able to hold the .80 level for much longer. Once that barrier is breached, we move into uncharted waters. And we all know what happens when one navigates in uncharted waters. If you don't know, just look at Darkside's image in post #2!

Once the dollar breaks .80, all the Central Bank gold sales in the world won't help. Gold will firmly establish itself above the 700 per ounce level.

GIM members with PM's get dibs on the 1st lifeboats ! :bear_tongue:

It's kind of an ironic idea that something as dense and prone to sinking as PMs are, will be relied upon to keep you floating in economic terms! If I was on a real lifeboat and some dude tries to board while holding a heavy stash of PMs, he would get thrown overboard in a heartbeat!:D

A friend saw an ad for gold on Foxnews just a few minutes ago.

Then they had Bush on talking about the stock market.

Having Fox talk about gold is not a good sign for (the way they are playing with) it's value.

The Fed. will be handing out the lifeboats, and from my impression of PM holders they won't be accepting them.:bear_w00t:

Two weeks ago, when we had a run up on PM's, I was lucky enough to dump some....we have to come to terms with the fact that they are far too manipulated to ever be what most of hope that they would be. But what is fascinating is that there are no real avenues for the average person to put their money for it to be safe and get any kind of return. We are being forced to capitulate any autonomy due to the fact that both the inflation and deflation card can be used against us. After all that has happened in the past month, a PM's are STILL caught in this range and trending down, its time that we understand that nothing is going to change.

nothing is going to change as long as people are buying paper silver and gold. BUY THE REAL THING! You WILL be rewarded.
