For those who do not "Grow their own" produce.... Here is a tip for you...

When you get your apples, tomatoes or any other fruit/vegetable which you usually "Eat the skin"

1. Fill a clean sink with cool water, enough to cover all the produce...

2. Take the juice of 2 lemons or limes add it to the sink full of water. (roughly 3-4 Tbsps)

3. Add 2-3 teaspoons of salts

4. let soak for 10-15 minutes...

Drain the solution, and spray off your now clean produce with some water....

This solution makes a "weak" form of hydrochloric acid, and it will take off all the pesticides, waxes, or other bad stuff on the outside of your produce....

take a good look at the water when you are done, and you will realize what you were putting into your body.....

they put some nasty stuff on their produce.........

Hope that tip helps some of my friends at GIM

I don't think that the deers and the two bears that come into my yard to eat my apples are going to wait for me to clean them up for them, why hell, the bears will the apples and then me.

PS: The only thing that I give my apples is water and boy are they good, specially the green ones....and the yellow plums yum yum yum are they good.
