"Meet Deborah Davis. She's a 50 year-old mother of four who lives and works in Denver, Colorado. Her kids are all grown-up: her middle son is a soldier fighting in Iraq. She leads an ordinary, middle class life. You probably never would have heard of Deb Davis if it weren't for her belief in the U.S. Constitution.

One morning in late September 2005, Deb was riding the public bus to work. She was minding her own business, reading a book and planning for work, when a security guard got on this public bus and demanded that every passenger show their ID. Deb, having done nothing wrong, declined. The guard called in federal cops, and she was arrested and charged with federal criminal misdemeanors after refusing to show ID on demand.

On the 9th of December 2005, Deborah Davis will be arraigned in U.S. District Court in a case that will determine whether Deb and the rest of us live in a free society, or in a country where we must show "papers" whenever a cop demands them.

This is not America. When honest, law-abiding citizens can't commute to work on a city bus without a demand for their 'papers', something is very, very wrong."

Well you can be sure the mass media and Hollwood won't elevate Davis to celebrity status for her courageous stand.

What don't you get?

Briefly, Rosa Parks was a black lady who refused to stand in the back of a public bus while going to work, back in the 60's, I believe. It was down south. She sat down and refused to give up her seat to a white person. She was arrested for it and that caused quite a commotion about freedoms for blacks and whites.

So Deborah, though white, refused to show I.D., while riding a publicly owned bus through a Federally owned complex. The twist is that she refused to show her "papers" (I.D.). Americans don't have to "show papers" to go anywhere. She was exercising that right, but still got arrested, ticketed and has to appear in court on Dec. 9, 2005. I guess the ACLU is assisting in her defense.

Both these lady's decided to stand up (er, sit down) for their rights to ride a bus. Both caught a lot of attention for their actions.

Understand now?

No. Rosa Parks is the one that got attention. She is a household name, everyone knows she is the Black lady that wanted to sit on the White end of a segregated bus. Whats-her-name only got the attention of LEO's and will certainly NOT be made famous for her courageous stand against the NWO, she will NOT become a household name in America or anywhere else. TPTB will NOT yield to the latter incident and initiate change that would terminate the practice of demanding "papers".
Understand the difference?

Mass media defines all the terms and draws all the lines of demarcation. Media handling of these incidents is the difference between day and night.

Common Sense Prevails

DENVER, 7 December 2005. Deborah Davis will not be prosecuted on charges related to her refusal to show ID on a public bus.

Deb's lawyer, ACLU volunteer attorney Gail Johnson, was informed shortly before noon today by the office of the US attorney in Denver of their decision not to prosecute.

A rally scheduled for this Friday morning in support of Deb's stand in favor of the Freedom to Travel will go ahead as planned. A victory ride on the route 100 RTD bus by Deb and some of her supporters will take place shortly thereafter.
