Got this quote from Franklin Sanders (The Moneychanger). I was not aware that the Bill of Rights were no longer valid:
On this day in 1791 the Bill of Rights, 10 amendments to the US
constitution, took effect after Virginia ratified them. They were then
abrogated and left as a dead hand from 1865 forward, and repealed
altogether in September, 2001. Many people erroneously assume the
Bill of Rights is still in effect because it is still printed in copies of
the constitution. Its provisions, however, are no longer enforceable
in court. Instead we have "judicial activism" and Homeland Security.
Now don't that jes' make you feel safe as a clam in his shell?
What will they repeal next the Contstitution since it is an outdated piece of paper?:thumpdown :boxing:

whatever! thats just one guys opinion. its not fact. its true that "judicial activism" is constantly trouncing on the Bill Of Rights but it is also true that at least 75% of the Bill Of Rights still stands un-contested simply because its truths are "self-evident".
Things that have been trounced are:
1. Law that allows a person to "encorporate" themselves into a church. Petitioning of the government is sometimes so well regulated that it is ineffective. These violate amendment 1.
2. amendment 2 is still untouched. the amendment allows a "regulated" militia... which in this case means no automatic weapons. thats fine with me.
3. amendment 3 is untouched
4. amendment IV has only partially been trounced. if you take the entire right literally, our government totally breaks this one. on the other hand, searches are all made with "probably cause" but are not usually made with enough description of what they are looking for. also, after searches are made, the government has no right to keep it secret. they should log it so that we can see what happened.
5. amendment 5 is solid.
6. amendment 6 has not been violated.
7. amendment 7 is solid.
8. amendment 8 is solid
9. amendment 9 is the very reason why amendment 4 should not be violated.
10. the rights that Bush claims are his are not his rights at all. amendment #10 says these rights belong to states.

Bill of Rights not valid = Authority of police and courts not valid.
Might is right.

Your list isn't NEARLY long enough to include even a portion of the "trounces"
And by the way.....look up the 1792 meaning of "regulated"......it doesn't mean what you think. Full auto weapons certainly ARE the right of the people to keep and bear as part of the militia.
In US v Miller, the first important case to be brought before the Supremes concerning the 1934 NatFirearmsAct, which uses a tax to control full auto weapons, the Supremes said Miller couldn't have a sawed off shotgun "because that was not a common military weapon", implying that common military weapons WERE what citizens should "keep and bare" under the second. I think we would all agree that full auto weapons ARE common military items and thus should be kept and born by the citizen militia. Us.
I could go on for about 10,000 more pages, but I'll quit with the 10th....the single most violated amendment of all. The federal govt has completely run over it and none of the gutless states have will to contest it.
The best I've heard of late, is a proposal by the State of Arizona to have all it's citizens send their Fed Income Tax to the State, then the State would deduct the cost of illegal immigration that the Feds are Constitutionally, contractually bound to at least TRY to prevent, and then send the Feds the remainder.......WOW....WOULD THAT GET THEIR FRICKING ATTENTION.
I've said the same thing for years about the gasoline tax. States pass these laws, like 55mph speed limits, or seat belts or whatever, because they are scared the Feds might cut 'em out of some gasoline tax money. I say let the State pass a law that NONE of the gasoline retailers have to collect or forward the tax......If the FEDS wanna tax gasoline, let them set a tax collector beside each pump in this State and go for it.

OUR U.S. SECOND amendment is always under attack and has been VIOLATED by 20,000 GUN LAWS. It is the TEETH for the REST. It falls they all fall. MIGHT MAKES RIGHT. Ones with guns rule. The United Nations wants to get rid of our first FOUR Amendments so they can rule us. The Second one first.

I love that idea about the state filtering the federal income taxes... seems legal to me. It seems it would solve school funding and health care cost dilemnas also.
Yeah, someone should write a book concerning the all the ways that our constitution is being violated. It would be fun to read.

Unfortunately, as soon as martial law is declared some time in late March or April, constitutional violations won't matter anymore.

Well, there are three different systems.
Lawful System (De Jure) In this system our unalienable (God-given and Constitutionally-protected) rights will always remain; there is NO lawful way to take them from us.
“Legal” System (De Facto) This system is built on deceit and deception; though it is not lawful it is “legal” and it is the system in which our nation currently operates. Though nothing can remove our unalienable God-given rights lawfully; this system has used lies, fraud and trickery in an highly organized plan to get people to surrender their rights “legally”.
Martial Law (Might = Right) This system has already been “Legally” implemented in America, in many ways. But up until now they have kept this hidden from the general public to prevent an uprising. However the American people are so blinded now that they could resort to complete martial law rule any time now, without much resistance. So do they have a lawful right to remove our rights? NO
A "legal" way to do it with deceit? Yes, but it still isn't lawful.
And can they do it with force? We will find out when the time comes. Remember, nothing is impossible with God on our side!
Sincerely, Zach Doty

NarrowPathPilgrim, I think you've cut to the heart of the matter. If someone wants to violate the law/constitution and do so with the authority and endorsement of the government, they'll find a way. Be it through deception and modifying the law, or through the use of force.
God certainly is on the side of those who are His, but he also never promised a bump-free ride. Infact, I specifically remember Jesus promising his disciples that they would be hated and killed (and they were).
I like the quote in your signature and the link. I don't actually believe there will be a government obedient to God until Jesus returns though. It's always good to fight against injustice and tyranny though.
