This is a classic case of fundamentals overruling technicals. I know you guys are going to think me crazy but I am still in this puppy. I set a target price of 5.00 when I got it and am going to stick with it, lets see if I puke.

What good does it do to have a firm grip on your butt when your flying off a cliff? This silly company nearly retested my entry price today after being up nicely. This is the problem with the OT stocks because you can never tell whats really up, I don't know if their is a bunch of shorts beating it back to cover or it is just a chrome plated POS. I may have to cut and run on this one if it drops to 1.68 at which time I will be just another loser. Anybody got anything to say about it?

Kazakstan?
Stepping out on the risk ladder are we?
Volume was vgood today, easy in and out. Somebody likes this one with the run it has been on. Went down to support and bounced. Still a long ways back to the 50 or 200 averages.
With these babies, buy off support levels, and sell into strength. This is surely evident in the chart. That is what those 'in the know' are doing.

Yea I am looking for strength believe me, I have a couple of these Kazakhstan companies and they are both letting me down at the moment. The TMY has been going down hard also. The state controlled Russian Gazprom is to blame for these problems since they have begun their march on all the energy companies in the former USSR states.
They secured the resources of Uzbekistan last Friday for the price of "protection from the west" and since Kazakhstan is basically landlocked with the exception of the Caspian Sea and that don't lead nowhere and will cease to exist when they do not concede defeat and sign on, it's about over. To bad too because they TMY just recently plumbed into the new pipeline but the way those things are mysteriously coming apart at the seams who knows how long that will last. I am .80 up on the TMY and just pennies on the BSKO so as much as I hate to I am getting out as soon as I see an end to it. My few shares are no match for the KGB, there are to many good companies here in the states and Canada doing well. I think the new conservative government coming into Canada is going to be great for the market.

This explains some of the beating TMY has taking,
</A=>alott of people felt the stock was going to go down.
Shares Short 1,385,919
Shares Short -Prior Mo 45,355
Days to Cover (Short Ratio) 1.5
Short % of Float 2.13 %
Short % Increase/Decrease 2955.71 %
Squeeze Ranking 8
Wouldn't suprise me a bit to find Putin himself shorted this one.

Unloaded the TMY to watch it go up a bit. Still holding the BSKO and today get the news,
Big Sky Energy Announces the Temporary Suspension of its Field Operations Due to Severe Cold in the North-West Caspian Region, Kazakhstan
Wednesday January 25, 4:01 pm ET
It is going to be hard not to add to this position if it drops hard on this news since the company has alott going for it, location is not one of them at least not as far as politics are concerned. I am going to ride it out and if it takes it's beating like a man I will pick up another 1000 shares.
Picked up ABP and TRM for the ST on the weakness maybe longer if the earnings come in strong and I expect them to. Almost picked up more EPEX today but am looking for a dip to $26 + - area for another ST reap. I see oil as bearish through the end of the week off the inventory data. Looking for a good drop in PYR also but there is a guy sitting there keeping the stock nearly level with what must be a few hundred thousand shares. If it drops to $1.40 range and BSKO does not give me a 25% discount I will be taking a large PYR position. At least large for me.
Every oil play was down for me today, the only money I made was off the rebound I got with the ABP. :frown:

Curtman, you still holding this?
No new news since they announced striking oil a week or two ago.
Do you think these guys are legit and a reasonably good company?
I only have one hundred shares, which I think I managed to time something close to their absolute peak and bought at 2.49, and they immediately plummeted.
I'm just going to throw it into the closet, forget about it, and wait until they strike oil in a few more wells and see what happens.

No I am out of Kaz oil as long as Gazprom is marching on the neighborhood.
Russia is not going to allow anything to bahave rational over there. From here on out I am only buying US and Canadian oil. When the Brazil gets going I may be interested in that. The EGY is in the South Africa area with a part of their fields and it is for some reason stable, I like them very much.

I hear you. For me it's such a small amount that it's not worth it to sell, especially at a loss. I still think it might come up if they hit a few more wells.
I'm right with you Brazil. I've wanted to invest there ever since I visited back in 2001. I also had a friend from Brazil who was a geneticist. Turns out, and I learned this independently of my friend, Brazil is one of the top countries in the word in genetic resarch. They are swimming in resources. And the Brazilians have something about them that is hard to put my finger on but seperates them from the rest of Latin America in terms their being able to move their economy ahead. I could go on about that, but this is a BSKO thread and I'm not sure I could explain it well.
