The youtube video you provide proposed that WTC7 fell FASTER than FreeFall velocity.

The big problem is the resolution of WTC7, with higher resolution we can see the faster than freefall myth is just that, a myth.

From one of your fellow CD/CT web sites.

"The rightmost column gives the free-fall distances minus the facade displacements. The differences are within the estimated margin of error for the facade displacement measurements for all but the first and final frames. This shows that the facade of WTC 7 accelerated downward at very CLOSE TO THE RATE of free-fall in at least its first three seconds of descent."

Basically it was taken from the same camera angle, maybe the same vid.

Not perfect analysis but damn close with about a 3 ft error margin for elevation.

The results are;


WTC7

total sample frames - 8

collapse time - 4.0 seconds

displacement floors - 14.2

distance traveled - 170.4 ft.



FREE FALL SPEED

Collapse time required - 3.35 seconds

distance traveled - 179.6 ft.

additional distance required to travel in order to obtain free fall velocity +9.2




Not only does it NOT make it to FASTER than FREEFALL as your video claims, it doesn't even make it to FREEFALL velocity.

Has anyone considered that they might have deliberately altered the videos, not to obscure what really happened (i. e. that a missle hit bldg 2 instead of a plane) but instead to create a red herring controversy, kind of like Silverstein's infamous and (seemingly deliberately) ambiguously incriminating statement on the PBS show? Maybe they took a plane out instead of putting one in.

The camera angles are completely different. Also, the two cameras are at different distances from the buildings. The first video was NOT taken from a stationary object higher than the WTC. It was taken from a LOWER position and angled upward.

All you have to do is compare the position of the horizon in the two video's to know this.

In video 1, you can't even see the horizon, whereas in video 2, you can.

This video was good for a laugh. Nothing more.
