Your pictures are mostly from the NOVA site and none of what you claim happened has a single calculation showing how much energy was required and where it came from. This thread is about energy and the only source is gravity so you really need to stick with the topic.

I require you to demonstrate which columns failed, how long it took them to fail at each floor and how much energy was required for the failure of those columns. Just saying the clips broke or the outer support columns bowed doesn't do a thing.

The fact is, I computed the mass of the upper 20 floors from the data provided in the FEMA document. If you have a disagreement with it then explain what the mass of the upper 20 floors is and how you arrived at that number. We need numbers to work with here, we have good numbers for the aircraft impact. We know the buildings could withstand the impact of the plane which was 3.1 Billion Joules of energy. We also know based on the numbers from the FEMA report and the computation of the Kinetic Energy released by the top 20 floors falling, that there is at most 145 Million Joules in the initial impact.

Please demonstrate what that 145 million Joules of energy did, with supporting equations and calculations as well as explaining why the upper floors continued to accelerate after the impacts in contradiction to the principle of Conservation of Momentum. I need answers to those basic physics questions because if you cannot answer them, then you haven't addressed my original analysis. All you have done is prove you can cut and past other peoples explanations that have never contained a single bit of substantiation in the way of computations.

I will leave you with a picture of what a building looks like after it has suffered a partial progressive collapse from the top. Notice how the floors are hanging from the core here, this is a real failure and it is a building not much different from the WTC towers so all the postulating that you put out there is negated by reality. All you have done on this thread so far is dissappointing, you said you were going to play math with me and so far all you have shown is an ability to cut and past from other web sites which lack any calcuations to substantiate their conjectures. Framing failure leaning towards one direction, second pic is engineering dynamics of that towers fall. One side of vertical support columns fail, opposite side bends toward leaning then buckels those columns. Entire top of stucture rocks back as it collapses.

Has anyone ever played Jenga? Seems to me that this is illogical. I'm no physicist by any means, but unless you have a simultaneous compromise to structural integrity on all sides at once, the building would contiue to fall OVER and not straight down. Unless, something on the opposite countered the dynamic. Halo has shown us one pic of the building leaning and then some cartoons, how about the pic a few seconds later. Notice the upper section turns upward by some 5 degrees and shortens by some 60 feet. Thus the upper section collapsed upon itself before continuing to the ground. The weight of this upper section would have to maintain it's mass to continue to pancake the rest of the building. Please explain this with gravity. I am a bit confused by the theory Halo is providing..... Can you please stop dancing around the numbers and explain in laymans terms...or perhaps give another example of when this has ever happened before in history?

Yeah, I was gonna say, with the towers collapsing in near free-fall, how did the upper part (that looked like it was going to fall over) get all squished? Those diagrams of the little blue tower don't make sense.

Also, video of the towers just seconds before they collapsed doesn't show any buckling. I can hold a ruler up to my screen - the things are straight as an arrow. Where are the pictures showing these angles?

Also, given the pancake theory, shouldn't there be nothing left standing? Those lower floors were hit with the most mass at the highest speed, so they should be as flat as a pancake.
