Why didn't the ends of the wing or the top of the tail mark the walls in any way, even in those specially selected pictures? In other pictures, why do we see nothing but one hole in the pentagon?

And, most importantly, if a plane hit the pentagon, and there was fire, why didn't the building collapse! (kidding.)
