Actually, we tolerate a fair amount of "mayhem" here as long as it's not advertising, spam, or personal attack style "mayhem".

We get tired of people who sow hate and discontent real fast but pretty much everybody else is welcome.

Thanks Sky. I admin a forum myself, so I know all about the problem childern. Like I said I have been lurking, I am a silver nut, (hold a little brite stuff too) and just enjoy this forum.

QWAK,mayhem,Back in 72 I was known as "the WARLOCK" that was in Nam and then I could bring down "HELLS FIRE" and blow people up,now I am "the DUCK" and I like that name better!:tongue:

Just a guess "EOD"? Making things go BOOM?

QWAK,Mayhem,I helped develop and test a secret weapons system that linked a dopler radar to artilery. I could pick some one up 12 clicks out in total darkness and drop a 105 on them with in 3 meters. It was extreamly devistating and they had no idea what was coming until it went BOOM!

I inlisted and trained to repair Ground control Radar but after the NCO academy was sent to NAM and never saw air craft radar agen! Another LIE from my Government. There were 4 classes of 30 to 35 guys who started but only 13 of us gradguated MOST who did not wound up as crue chiefs on bullet launchers (GRUNTS) . The government gets to make the ruels and later INTERPIT them and as indiviguals YOU will do as told or ELSE!

I was drafted. Fortunately, I became an instructor in an MOS that _many_ people enlisted to get. _Huge_ numbers got the training but went to Nam as grunts. Seems that the recruiters forgot to tell them that their terms of enlistment guaranteed them the _training_ in that MOS, but did not guarantee them an _assignment_ in that field.

QWAK,Ken,Aint THAT the TRUTH! Just another reason the military prefers young unexperienced people,they idealisticly BELIEVE and don't even think to question and by the time they DO it is too late! At 18 to 21 they can't or don't imagin they could DIE or be mamed and disfigured for life, it is an ADVENTURE and it only happens to SOME ONE ELSE not THEM! Give a 19 year old a gun and tell him he is SUPER MAN and to go GET that macheangun nest and he WILL, do the same with a guy at 30 with a family and HE will SHOOT the guy giving the ORDER!:hahaha:
