While doing research on refuting that in Job 40:15 the term behemoth refered to dinosaurs I came across the below site.

I know a few of you like 3J are truly interested in delving into the roots and history of your bible and figured this would help.

Its a great site for going back to the original language in which the old testament was written in. Basically click on a word that is highlighted to get the original and its definition. Old testament is hebrew and new testament is greek.

Example......

and where it is specifically used at

Thanks....
So, you don't think Behemoth was a dinosaur? What do you think it's a reference to? How many animals have a tail "like" a cedar?? Certainly not a hippo or an elephant.

I posted this as a resource and thats it. I respect this forum and didnt come into looking for a fight, actually I think this is my first post in it.
If you want to argue with the hebrew language that is a few thousand years older than you or I then you go ahead and do it. you did read the definition of it right?

on the cedar thing....I think its a reading issue.

its says moveth his tail like a cedar. it doesnt say his tail is like a cedar.
