Keeping gold physically

I'd like to lurn some more about how to physically keep some gold or silver (like in my house or something). Should I get some gold that is in some plastic for protection or something? And if it is not sold in a protected way, should I protect it (and how)?

How and where should I store it? Should I put my gold... under my bed? hehe
I want to lurn everything, so I'll be happy to be refered to a website if you have one.

Okay, if you want to learn as much as you can in a shortest period of time, I would suggest doing a search this site and pull up all of the posts by SilverStreak. (Click on Members at the top of this window, click on the letter S, scroll about half way down and click on his name. In that new window,
over on the left, click on Find all posts by this user. Then read every post that SilverStreak and others have said in every thread. What is said about storing silver is the same for gold
