having read most of orlin grabbe's site, i was impressed by the amount of inforumation explaining crytography and the 'new banking system'. and tho i dont know a single person who has worked with his digital system, it appears to be relatively 'safe' for transaction of smaller amounts of money.
does anyone have *any* experience at all using the system? does anyone know of anyone who's used the system?
i know everything is super confidential, so i'm not asking for names, addresses and tel# (duhh). just wondering, thats all.

People are successfully using this sytem. It is not a scam. Although, as is mentioned in the documentation, there is nothing to prevent him from closing it all down one day and running off with the money. So you have to deal with a small amount of risk, but there doesn't seem to be a way around that if you want easy online payment systems.
If you are thinking of getting a DMT account, you may find this useful too.

Don't know if anyone still cares about this, but DMT seems to have run into some trouble:
http://www.yodelbank.com/dmt_investigation_conclusion.html
Summary: Some people claim they did not receive the money owed to them by DMT on the order of 10s of thousands of dollars. It was supposed to be wired to them, and it never was. Andre Goldman did an investigation into DMT, and determined that they did not intend to defraud anyone, but they are having cashflow problems. (Does that mean they weren't malicious, just incompetent?)
With all this going on, I would be extra cautious about using DMT. If you have a use for anonymous online financial transactions, e-gold may be the best way to go after all. If you know of any viable alternatives, please feel free to suggest them.
