"An economist is a man who states the obvious in terms of the incomprehensible." - Alfred A. Knopf
By that definition you sir are not an economist.:thumbs up
.

Hmm... I thought I stated the obvious in comprehensible words. At least what my observations have been. So I agree, by that definition I am not an economist :) Nor do I avail myself as such. :) Please do share your thoughts on the topic :) I am always eager to learn new things and gain fresh perspectives of how our economy is (or is not) working :)
Does anyone think that a failed or failing US economy/US Dollar is not as much a disaster as some think? It seems to me that our economy failing would have a large impact on the world. Possible causing a worldwide recession?
Wait a minute... I have drifted WAY off topic... Pardon me! :)

What do you know Buff that we don't?
For one thing...I know that money is constitutional. Another thing...the Fed is not illegal.

Ha! This is the same guy I've dealt with on the SilverSeek.com forums. He is a non-believer in backed currency. He thinks it's better the way it is now.
Does that load of it ever get too heavy for you to carry around?

Go back to eating your pruins and kicking the neighbor's cat for crapping on your porch, old man. Is it nap time yet? You seem to be a little cranky.

*yawn* I have noticed here Biff, that you really do not contribute a lot in the way of original thought or engaging thoughtful and thought provoking discussion, but merely make demeaning potshots at people. Except over in the Islamic thread where you seem to take an overly keen interest in the Mulsims having sex with 10 year olds.

You noticed that too, huh?

That American born muslim over in the religious section thinks it is ok to molest and marry a nine year old. You are criticizing me for disagreeing. Do you expect more for your nine year old daughter?

Cover up those tattoos and get a hair cut. Get caught up on your child support too.

As I stated in another post I recently read an account of all the financial panics in the U.S. going back to 1800. It is quite evident that our citizens of an earlier time had a much better grasp of the monetary situation. Very few of the modern day U.S. citizens would even be mildly concerned about a financial collapse or panic. They wouldn't understand how this could affect them personally or the ramifications for the country. Maybe this is why we had financial panics years ago, people realized they were in danger. Today they are in totally ignorant bliss.

I don't have children. And if you don't like the fact that I have long hair and tattoos, then get ****ed. It's a free country, pal.

Please feel free to disagree with anything I post. But if you do, try to say a little more than "What a load of it." and just insult others on the tread.:frown:

Interesting concept in part of the show about opting out.
