Ron Paul will need help in Iowa & New Hampshire!
The first real battle is Iowa's Caucus...Ames Straw Poll, etc, January 14th. Then comes Nevada's Caucus on Jan. 19th followed by the very important New Hampshire primary on Jan. 22nd.( New Hampshire will probably vote to move their primary to January 8th this year, so may well be the single most important objective at this stage) Candidates that win the New Hampshire primary either A) Go on to be nominated or B) Get much needed exposure thats hard to beat. Below is information on these states -but remember, with Ron Paul's current momentum, any number of states may jump ahead in the primary schedule and catch us off guard -be vigil within your own states as well. New Hampshire: New Hampshire GOP: http://www.nhgop.org/cal/calendar.php Website lists events with candidates throughout Iowa, breakfasts with Guilliani, etc. Knowing when & where candidates will be focusing there energies is helpful. I.E. If Guilliani is having Breakfast with a County Party, we can keep letters to the editor flowing in weeks in advance in that specific county. If Ron Paul is to make an appearance, we can help promote that as well. Here's the republican executive leadership in New Hampshire: Fergus Cullen - Chairman 134 N. Like the New Hampshire Young Republicans, these are the people that will go door to door and really get the message out. College Campuses will be very receptive to Ron Paul, but only if the word gets out. New Hampshire Young Republicans: kmarsh2004@earthlink.com. This organization provides critical grassroots support to candidates. They should be able to link out-of-state supporters with in-state supporters. I'll follow up later with listings of New Hampshire Media by county - getting the word out will take time and the foundations need to be laid now. Do we have any GIM'rs in New Hampshire?? |
