This guy nailed it, nailed it, nailed it. I wonder if anyone was listening?

Yes, it was an excellent speech - a direct strike back at the Neocons-Bushites, but done with a high-minded erudition. You can be sure while the other candidates are too busy memorizing their scripts to listen to Paul, the handlers and strategists like Rove are listening to Paul with increasing concern.

Ummm... he pretty much called for open revolution.

He outlined that they can have a "non-violent" revolution, or a "violent" revolution. He read off the list of grievances as if they were directly from the Declaration of Independence. He stood up, and shoved all of their crimes against liberty, and the American people, right in their greedy fat faces.

I am proud of Ron Paul for this.

However, I see a problem in the near future...

If Ron Paul dies, for any reason, there will be armed military revolution. If Ron Paul looses, the rhetoric will be so harsh, and the message will be so infectious that armed military revolution will be unavoidable. If Ron Paul wins, then the American people will have successfully conducted a "non-violent" revolution...

Now what?...

He'll have a Democrat-controlled, "big government" Legislature to contend with; and he will piss off: the global banking elite, AIPAC, and the MIC (Military Industrial Complex.) We can expect that he will create an exploratory committee on 9/11, the ENTIRE Bush administration, the handling of the Iraq War funding and no-bid contracts for various corporate entities under the umbrella of the Carlyle Group, and he may even look into conducting hearings to bring key members of the Bush administration under investigation for treason. We can also expect some trust-busting in big energy, the MSM, banking, telecommunications, insurance, medical, and retail. Finally, the trade deficit will be halted (possibly cold turkey.) As China's #1 customer, a halt on all trade will cause a rather big problem.

If Ron Paul is elected, we can almost be assured that the following day will see the biggest stock market crash in the history of the world. The FRN system will collapse shortly before Dr. Paul has had a chance to print enough U.S. currency to replace it, and foreign investors will begin to DEMAND repayment for their outstanding debts. During the mass confusion, we will witness a massive retraction of our military force, which will be converging off the coast of the U.S.; but along the route out of harms way, we can expect a rather strong display of force by the (now victorious) insurgents. We might even see a few "terrorist" attacks within the borders of the U.S.

With a destroyed economy, a defeated military, and a VERY ANGRY cabal of elitists; Ron Paul will be able to begin his reconstruction program...

What are the chances that the global elite (bankers, MSM, MIC, etc...) will attempt a military coup d'état? Or will he be able to rout them out before they get the chance? If they succeed, how long before we can expect an armed military revolution? How long until full-scale civil war breaks out?

We are on a VERY dangerous path. I feel that an armed military revolution would probably be the worst option for the American people, as well as the idea of The United States in general. Bloodshed in the streets, and on the hands of fellow Americans will do nothing but invite the UN to invade and "restore order." I'm sure that the rest of the world would like nothing more than to watch the dismantling of the U.S. on their televisions every night...

Yes, if he loses, it will be a total loss for America. The war will continue, the corruption will continue, the inflation will DEFINATELY continue as none but Ron Paul wants to dismantle the Federal Reserve, the IRS will continue, the immigration situation will get worse, America will enter darker days... America needs a leader like Ron Paul, how can these so-called "patriots" in the media ignore Dr. Ron Paul?

“Never make predictions, especially about the future.”

Ron Paul is clearly intelligent, progressive and a pragmatist. He will not do anything to deliberately disrupt the economy. The changes he proposes clearly must be phased in. I don't think anyone can predict the reaction of the US or world economy to a Ron Paul presidency.

In contemplating a Ron Paul presidency dealing with an entrenched statist Congress, one is right to be concerned: how will he accomplish anything meaningful. But, perhaps the Bush presidency will be the double-edge sword that Ron Paul needs. Thanks to Bush, the president now enjoys virtual dictatorial powers over domestic affairs; he is already the Commander in Chief of all the armies. I think even Jefferson would forgive benevolent dictatorship as a means to remedying past abuses in order to restore the health of the republic.

A great point, and well-put - Thank you.

However, I am still deeply concerned about the retribution that Dr. Paul and the American people can expect from TPTB. Despite being ousted, they will still have a tremendous amount of power to cripple Dr. Paul's attempts to restore the Republic...

Well, at this point I'm going to focus on getting Ron Paul into the oval office, what little I as one person can do. I only hope he survives - he represents a potentially grave threat to TPTB, and they will not give up their kingdom without a fight. And no dirty trick or deed is beneath them!:afraid:

Start a subject with acquaintances as to the great polarization of power, it is around you everywhere today.

Literally nearly every single article in your newspaper has subject matter dealing with the polarization of power into the have its, and the don't have its.

I see it everywhere these days.

From there, into state entitlements and there effect of making the people weaker and reliant.

Then onto the dictatorial "fear" motions of our government.

E-mail them this speech and you will be elected.

Wow. I already liked the guy, but that is amazing. Whether anyone was in the room or not, for a sitting congressman and presidential candidate to make that speech on the floor is incredible. I though I had sent what I had to give to contribute to his campaign, but I am definitely going to dig deeper.
