SARS Building: Rising Counts

We've mentioned previously our concerns with the outbreak of Sudden Acute Respiratory Syndrome because it may pose a larger threat long term than most people yet realize. In order to keep a handle on the spread of this new and very dangerous disease, please visit the CDC statistical tracking site at: http://www.cdc.gov/od/oc/media/sars.htm and the World Health Organization's web site at: http://www.who.int/csr/sarscountry/en/ .

As of this morning (3/26) the WHO figures report 1323 known and suspected cases with a 3.7% mortality rate. We expect that will climb to >8% as suspected cases come off the list and fatalities rise.
