Sheffield Resources Ltd. (Vancouver:SLD.V - News) has acquired the Moonlight copper property in northern California. Sheffield's President David Jenkins was very familiar with the deposit, introduced to it some 30 years ago when it was part of the Placer Development portfolio and he was one of their geological experts. Sheffield has consolidated ownership of the deposit and surrounding area, and they believe that with today's drilling methods and metallurgical knowledge they'll be able to readily multiply the project's known resource and improve the average grade at the same time!
