Sterling Takes Possession of the Sunshine Mine

On June 10th, Sterling Mining Company secured the lease of the historic Sunshine Mine, North America's richest silver mine. The Sunshine has produced over 350 million ounces of silver since its first production in 1884. Sterling is proud to add the Sunshine's estimated 26 million ounce reserve and 160 million ounce resource (please see disclosure below), making Sterling the 7th largest public silver mining company in the world.

Disclosure: Reserves and resources are those estimated by the former operators of the mine and were also reviewed by an independent consulting firm in 1999. Sterling is still in the process of reviewing these figures and will report an updated figure at the earliest possible date."
