Hello.
I'm thinking about getting in a gold-based fund. But it's weird: the fund is investing internationally, is in American money while I'm in Canada. How do I know how to see the effect of currency value with all this?? If the US dollar goes down 50%, will I see my investment go down 50% or will it stay still because of its international aspect? |

First, welcome to Gold Is Money GoldCookie!
The question you posed would have to be answered by your fund manager. Yes, it would seem that way because you are investing C$'s and receiving US$'s in fund proceeds, but you must check with them to get a proper answer. |
